Lowell Five Board of Directors promote seven

On behalf of the Lowell Five Bank Board of Directors, David E. Wallace, Chief Executive Officer of Lowell Five Bank, is pleased to announce the following officer promotions in recognition of each recipient’s hard work and dedication to the Bank:

Daniel A. Jacobs was promoted to Senior Vice President, Credit Manager.  Mr. Jacobs has been with Lowell Five for five years, joining as Vice President Credit Manager.  He and the Credit Team are instrumental in providing credit analysis and credit administration support to the Commercial team in order to drive new business, to both new and existing customers.  Mr. Jacobs ensures that the delivery of service is done accurately and within very tight deadlines. A graduate of Miami University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Dan went on to earn his Master of Business Administration from Bentley University.  He is a Board Member of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Haverhill and serves as Treasurer.

Rachel A. Tierney was promoted to Senior Vice President, Retail Administration.  Ms. Tierney has developed an expertise in customer service during her twenty-seven-year career at Lowell Five.  She advanced through Retail Banking to Training/Recruiting, Client Service Center, and in 2021 was named Vice President of Retail Administration. Ms. Tierney holds the Lowell Five paradigm of Advisory, Opportunity, Leads, and Customer Experience at the forefront in all she does and leads by example. A graduate of Newbury College and The New England School for Financial Studies, she is currently on the Board of Girls Inc. of Greater Lowell.

Susan M. Allard was promoted to Vice President, Retail Operations.  Ms. Allard has been assisting Lowell Five customers for the past thirty years. She has the distinction of being the first Greater Lowell Technical High School student to be hired and trained as a Teller at the Bank’s school retail branch location.  Allard served as Teller, Head Teller, Assistant Branch Manager, and Branch Manager before accepting the position of Assistant Vice President, Branch Operations in 2018. In her role, Ms. Allard plays an integral role in managing risk throughout the branch network as well as implementing new initiatives with a careful eye towards the customer experience.

Jillian D.Daneau was promoted to Vice President, Portfolio Management Team Leader.  Ms. Daneau has more than twenty-three years of banking experience – all of it with Lowell Five Bank.  In addition to retail banking, she was a member of the Bank’s Credit Department before joining Portfolio Management in 2018.  In 2021, Daneau was promoted to Commercial Loan Portfolio Officer, Team Leader. In addition to managing a team of Portfolio Managers, Ms. Daneau has been instrumental in managing the Paycheck Protection Program for the entire commercial portfolio which has enabled the bank to support our customers during the past couple of years.

Jennifer C. McDonnell was recently promoted to Vice President, Loan Servicing.  Ms. McDonnell joined Lowell Five in 2016 as Assistant Vice President, Loan Servicing.  She has over twenty-two years of experience in loan servicing.  Ms. McDonnell has been instrumental in supporting the Bank’s commercial loan growth over the past several years.  Her dedication, expertise, and leadership ensure the Bank is well-positioned to provide exceptional service to its borrowers.

Matthew O. Robbins was promoted to Vice President, Senior Credit Analyst.  Mr. Robbins is a Certified Public Accountant, having earned his undergraduate degree from Saint Anselm College and a Master of Business Administration from Nichols College.  He joined Lowell Five’s Credit Team five years ago as a Senior Credit Analyst and was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Credit in 2019. His depth of knowledge and experience provide crucial support in the commercial underwriting process, especially for larger and more complex transactions as well as assisting with appraisal reviews and real estate market analysis.  Robbins serves on the Barton Center for Diabetes Education Board in Oxford, MA.

Sean T. Gordon was promoted to Senior Analyst, Credit Officer.  While a full-time student at the University of Massachusetts – Lowell, Mr. Gordon worked for Lowell Five Bank as a Retail Banking Associate.  Upon graduating, he accepted the position of Credit Analyst Trainee in 2019.  Within a year, he was promoted to Credit Analyst.  Mr. Gordon has demonstrated commendable progression in his role supporting commercial lending in a relatively short period of time.  He is a valued member of the Credit Department.  Gordon is pursuing his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance at UMass – Lowell, where he is a member of The International Business Honor Society.
