Lowell Five Employees choose Live for Liv to receive their 2nd Quarter 2023 Charitable Giving Award

The Live for Liv Foundation honors the life of domestic violence victim Olivia Marchand by raising awareness of domestic violence and spreading a message of peace. The Lowell Five Bank Employee Charitable Giving Committee (ECGC) selected Live for Liv to receive its $10,000.00 Second Quarter 2023 Award.

Based in Westford, MA, Live for Liv is a non-profit organization established in memory of Olivia Marchand, who lost her life at just 17 years old to an incident of domestic violence in 2010. Its goal is to educate young people about domestic violence, forms of bullying, and non-compassion, whether to others or themselves. Additionally, Live for Liv provides funds to support efforts to protect and help victims.

According to Live for Liv Executive Director Jodi Marchand, Lowell Five’s Employee Charitable Giving donation will help individuals in crisis during a domestic violence episode. Funds will provide victims with money for hotel rooms, food, rent, furniture, and whatever is needed to assist with their safety.

Lowell Five’s employees each year choose four charitable organizations from a list of employee-elected nominees to receive a Quarterly Employee Charitable Giving Award. The ECGC Award comprises the total employee-elected charitable payroll contribution for the financial quarter matched 100% by Lowell Five Bank.
