Lowell, MA – Robert A. Caruso, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lowell Five Bancorp, MHC, the parent Company of Lowell Five Bank (Lowell Five) is pleased to announce the election of Amy Hoey to the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors. The election was held at the Bank’s Annual Meeting on January 29, 2018.Ms. Hoey joined Lowell Five in 2011 as a member of the Board of Corporators and was appointed Director in 2014.

Amy Hoey, RN, BSN, MS serves as Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer (COO), responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Lowell General Hospital. As Chief Operating Officer, Ms. Hoey leads the preparation of the organization’s annual goals and objectives and continually evaluates the plans to ensure the successful performance of Lowell General Hospital and its ability to meet its mission to put patients first in everything we do. She also works to ensure that the hospital earns and maintains accreditation, licensing, and quality patient care through the establishment of performance improvement programs and standards.
Outside of the work Ms. Hoey does within the hospital and in addition to her position on the Board at Lowell Five, she is an active participant in multiple community organizations including: Board of Trustees D’Youville Life and Wellness Center, Board of Trustees New England Life Care, Member Organization of Nurse Leaders for Massachusetts and Rhode Island (ONL), Member American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE), and a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society.
Ms. Hoey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education from the University of Lowell, a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Salem State College, and a Master of Science degree in Administration from Central Michigan University.
