Lowell Five Bancorp announces election of Michael S. Reilly, president and chairman of Fred C. Church, Inc. to executive committee, board of directors

Lowell, MA – Robert A. Caruso, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lowell Five Bancorp, MHC, the parent Company of Lowell Five Bank (Lowell Five) is pleased to announce the recent election of Michael S. Reilly to the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors.

Mr. Reilly is President & Chairman of Fred C. Church, Inc. Headquartered in Lowell, Massachusetts, Fred C. Church is one of the largest insurance agencies in New England. With ten office locations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut and Colorado and more than 150 employees, Fred C. Church offers a broad range of insurance services. Fred C. Church has been named to Business Insurance magazine’s Best Places to Work in Insurance list for the past five years.

Mr. Reilly joined Lowell Five in 1996 when he was elected as a Corporator. In 2005, he was elected to the Board of Directors and has served on the Investment Committee and most recently the Audit Committee.

In addition to his Board positions at Lowell Five Bank, Mr. Reilly is a Director of The Lowell Plan, Trustee of both Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell and Ayer Home, and a member of the Board of Governors for Lowell General Hospital.
