Tewksbury, MA – Tewksbury, MA – Lowell Five Bank employees have chosen Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter (NSKS) to receive their Q4 2021 Lowell Five Employee Charitable Giving (ECGC) Award. Each year, Lowell Five’s employees choose four charitable organizations from a list of employee-elected nominees to receive a Quarterly Employee Charitable Giving Award.
The Q4 2021 ECGC Award of $9,600 is comprised of the total employee-elected charitable payroll contribution for the financial quarter matched 100% by Lowell Five Bank. In addition to the financial donation, Lowell Five employees organized a hat, mittens, and scarf collection to donate to NSKS. Some members of the ECGC volunteered their services at the NSKS unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and distributing weekly food supplies to individuals and families.
“The Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter is exceptionally grateful for the support from Lowell 5,” commented Michal Reinke, Executive Director. “This gift will be used to support the critical work we do to ensure everyone can have enough to eat. Specifically, it will help us purchase the food necessary to supply our community kitchen and food pantry.”
