Lowell, MA – David E. Wallace, President, and CEO of Lowell Five Bank is pleased to announce that Daniel Jacobs has joined the Bank’s Credit Department as Vice President, Credit Manager. In this position, Dan will manage the workflow and production of the Credit Department as well as oversee the professional development and training of its staff.
Dan brings to Lowell Five the benefit of over 20 years of experience in commercial credit. He began his banking career in 1996 at the former Beverly National Bank where he worked until it sold in 2009. Dan comes to Lowell Five from his most recent position as Vice President, Senior Credit Officer at The Savings Bank in Wakefield, MA.
Although he was born in Oakland, CA, his family lived in a number of places in his youth including Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, and Ohio. His undergraduate degree in Finance is from Miami University in Ohio. Upon earning a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Bentley University in 1990, Dan settled in Andover, MA where he lives today with his wife and their young son.
